About Him:
Deepak Timmanna Bhat is a dedicated Yakshagana artist and cultural enthusiast who has been actively involved in performing arts for over eight years. With a postgraduate degree in commerce, Deepak balances academic accomplishment with a deep-rooted passion for Yakshagana.
He began his formal training in Yakshagana in 2014 under the guidance of renowned artists such as Ananta Dantalige, Sadashiva Malavalli, and Nagappa Komara. His journey started at the Yakshamitra Mandali, led by Shri Subraya Hegde of Malagimane, where his talent and dedication quickly stood out.
Experience in Yakshagana:
With over 7–8 years of performance experience, Deepak has portrayed various characters with finesse and has gained recognition for his expressive acting and strong stage presence. His commitment to the art is reflected in his continuous learning and active participation in Yakshagana productions.

As a Costume Faculty of Dheemahi Yakshagana Kalakendra, Deepak contributes not only as a performer but also as a mentor and cultural ambassador. His expertise in character portrayal, understanding of traditional narratives, and passion for sharing knowledge make him a vital pillar of the team.
